Hyderabad: A 30-year-old woman was seriously injured in the neck after being attacked with a knife by her jilted lover in Borabanda, SR Nagar, on Monday night. The seriously injured woman was rushed to hospital for treatment.
According to police, the suspect, Kishore Kumar, was involved in stalking and harassing the 30-year-old woman. It seemed that he was forcing the woman to accept his marriage proposal. Seeing that the woman was not interested, she began to avoid him, causing the two to quarrel frequently.
Kishore Kumar, who is believed to have held a grudge against the woman, followed her on Monday and slit her throat with a knife. Kishore Kumar was arrested and handed over to the police.
