Interdepartmental coordination meeting held in view of Hanuman Jayanthi march to be held on Thursday

Hyderabad: An inter-departmental coordination meeting was held in view of the Hanuman Jayanthi parade to be held in the city on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by officials from Hyderabad Police, EMRI, GHMC, Camps, Roads and Construction, Fire Department, TSRTC and Rachakonda and Cyberabad Police Commission along with representatives of Bajrangdal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad to discuss the coordination and security of the march arrange.
During the meeting, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand stressed the need for self-restraint by the participants during the march and when returning home.
He appealed to the participants to observe the designated parade route, diversion and time to avoid inconvenience to the public.
CV Anand then inspected the 12km procession route which included Rammandir (Gowliguda), Putlibowli, YMCA, RTC intersection, House of the Bible and Hanuman Temple at Tadbund. During the joint patrol of the route, he gave important instructions to the organizers and the police to avoid a standstill on the day of the march.
Meanwhile, Cyberabad Police Chief Stephen Raveendra called a review meeting related to Hanuman Jayanthi. Cyberabad CP asked the officials to remain vigilant and take all measures to prevent any unfortunate incident. He asked them to make sure the parade passed a designated route and that organizers kept to the schedule.
