Harihar Nandan Edupuganti entered the Asian Book of Records for interpreting all the mita of the Ramayana.
Hyderabad: Harihar Nandan Edupuganti is only 14 years old but can interpret all the Kandas of the Ramayana, is a black belt holder in karate, can recite Panchanga Sravanam in perfect Telugu without difficulty, has a deep knowledge of astrology, Into Asia Book Records and recently shortlisted Pradhan Mantri Bala Sakthi Puraskar-2022.
The achievements of this young man from Hyderabad don’t stop there as he skillfully balances education with interests in astrology, martial arts, sports, Vedic science and more. In 2020, Harihar Nandan was included in the Asian Book of Records for his interpretation of the Seven Ramayanas.
At an early age, he learned astrology from his mother, Dr. Padmaja Rani, one of the few female Panchanga Karthas in the country. “By the age of 12, Harihar Nandan was proficient in many disciplines, astrology, astrology, mythology, as well as Vedic science and martial arts,” said his father Nanda Gopal, a bank employee.
The young man completed his secondary education at IIT Kendriya Powai in Mumbai and is currently studying Class 9 at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Gachibowli. “By the age of four, children are usually interested in games. But he showed great interest in learning astrology and at the same time even martial arts. Children don’t know much about astrology, even if you tell them tithi, vara, nakshatra , yoga and karnam, they may not understand either. Talking about Panchangam at such an age is not an ordinary thing,” said proud parents Nanda Gopal and Padmaja Rani.
