Hyderabad: At least five people were injured in a fire at a house in Domarguda Rose Colony on Tuesday due to a liquefied petroleum gas leak, according to reports.
The injured were immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
It is initially suspected that the cause of the fire was a leak of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders during cooking.
Local residents reported the incident to the local police, who in turn contacted fire department personnel.
Fire engines rushed to the scene immediately, put out the fire, and participated in the rescue and transfer of the injured.
Sources said the injured were women who lived in the house where the fire occurred.
Domarguda police are investigating.
