Hyderabad: A six-year-old boy drowned Tuesday in a puddle at a house under construction in Jubilee Hills.
Toddler Vivek slipped and drowned in the hole dug for the foundation columns while playing. Due to the heavy rain, water accumulated in the pit.
Neighbors pulled the boy out after being reminded by his family. However, he is dead.
Jubilee Hills Police were called to the scene and the body was transferred to a mortuary for an autopsy.
A case is booked.
