Adadri-Bongil: Bhongir MLA Pailla Shekar Reddy made it clear on Sunday that he has no mining operations in South Africa.
He told the media here that business and politics are different. He entered politics to serve the people with the money he earned from his business. The latest IT raid was routine, with officials returning empty-handed after three days of searching the offices of his family-owned business.
He denied that IT officials had also searched his relative’s home and said reports that some key documents had been seized from his relative’s home were untrue.
Responding to a question, he also said the raid was not based on a complaint from Telangana Udhyamakarula Ikya Vedika state president M Raghuma Reddy.
