Experts say there are 30-40 missed/undiagnosed cases

According to anecdotal and observational data by senior physicians, 30% to 40% of undiagnosed/undiagnosed children are silently suffering from sleep and snoring disorders, not only in Hyderabad but also in other urban centers of Telangana.
Experts fear that failure to diagnose or recognize such medical conditions in children will adversely affect their future intelligence and intelligence, and may even affect their physical activity.

Senior pulmonologist Dr Vijay Kumar Chennamchetty from Hyderabad urges parents and other caregivers to never underestimate or ignore children who have snoring problems or often suffer from sleep disturbances at night.
“It’s important to understand that while the areas of the brain that sleep and learn grow with age, unfortunately, changes in nighttime and daytime sleep patterns are missed or even ignored by parents. While in adults, snoring and sleep disturbances can lead to heart abnormalities, such as sudden cardiac death syndrome, and can lead to strokes or paralysis, in children the symptoms are slightly different. Complications of sleep disturbance and snoring in children can lead to long-term illness if left undiagnosed or untreated.
