New Delhi: India notified the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday that it had recorded 188 new cases of COVID-19 infection in the past 24 hours.

The current recovery rate is 98.8%. As many as 141 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,4143,483. The daily positivity rate was 0.14%, while the weekly positivity rate was 0.18%.
A total of 90,529 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours.
On the COVID-19 vaccination front, government figures show that more than 220.07 million doses of the vaccine have been administered so far in the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
The federal government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding coverage of COVID-19 vaccinations across the country.
