New Delhi: India reported 268 new Covid cases in the past 24 hours, compared with 188 reported the previous day, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.
The number of active cases is 3,552, which is 0.01% of the total number of positive cases in the country.
The current weekly positivity rate is 0.17%, while the daily positivity rate is 0.11%.
182 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the cumulative total to 4,41,43,665. Hence, the recovery rate in India is 98.80%.
Also during the same period, a total of 2,36,919 tests were conducted across the country, bringing the total to 910.4 million.
India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage surpassed 220.08 crore as of Thursday morning, with 99,231 vaccines administered in the last 24 hours.
