India’s progress will be hindered as long as political parties adhere to stereotyped governance and engage in immoral activities, says Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao

BRS Chairman and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao welcomed Maharashtra’s leader into the party at Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday.
Hyderabad: BRS Chairman and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao stressed the need for a transformed India to alleviate the hardships faced by all segments of society including farmers, Dalits, Bahujans and Adivasis. He expressed concern that as long as political parties persist in stereotypical governance and engage in illegal activities, India’s progress will be hindered. He was addressing the leaders of various political parties in Maharashtra who joined the ranks of BRS on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister stated that leading the country on the road of development does not require advanced science, but innovative thinking and effective governance. Despite the country’s rich natural resources, he expressed disappointment that past rulers had not adequately met the needs of the people for seven decades. He urged governments to prioritize the welfare of farmers, Dalits and Adivasis, highlighting Telangana as a model for state policies for these marginalized groups.
“Telangana’s development shows the lack of effective governance in the country. India desperately needs transformation to solve public problems, but the central rulers lack the vision to achieve this goal. Over the past nine years, Telangana has proved that where there is a will, there is a way, “He said. He said BRS, which aims to lead India in radical change and development, is gaining momentum with Maharashtra leading the way.
Taking the opportunity, Rao laid out his ideas to address farmers’ concerns, especially in terms of improving irrigation and power systems to ensure farming success. He urged farmers, women and youth across the country to unite and work together to realize the aspirations of the people instead of being divided by political affiliation.
Several prominent leaders from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, including NCP Maharashtra vice-president Ghanshyam Shelar, joined the party in the presence of the chief minister. Shelar won the support of key voters with nearly 100,000 votes in the last parliamentary election, but lost the Srigondha constituency due to technical reasons. They pledged to work to strengthen Rao’s policies across the country and work to foster a developed India. BRS MLA A Jeevan Reddy and BRS Maharashtra leaders including Khadir Maulana and Himanshu Tiwari were also present.
