Angels: Instagram may be updating to make your photo carousel more attractive.
According to The Verge, the company is testing a new feature that will let you add songs to a carousel of photos you post to the platform.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the news on his Instagram broadcast channel, noting that it’s already rolling out in “a handful of countries.” Beyond that, Zuckerberg also mentioned that Instagram is testing a way to add music to Notes, an AIM-like feature that lets you share your status with friends.
A few days ago, Instagram rolled out a redesigned Reels video editor along with other features for creators. Additionally, users can now add up to five links to their bio along with their title.
“This makes it easier to align and time the elements of a scroll to the correct moment in a more intuitive way,” Meta wrote in a blog post.
The company further noted that other editing tools are in the works as it continues to try to erode TikTok’s dominance.
Additionally, Instagram has updated its Reels insights page to give creators more insight into how their videos are performing.
