Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma expressed disappointment with his team’s death bowling against PBKS in the IPL.

Mumbai: Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma has given his side a 13-point loss to Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Bowling in the death bout expressed disappointment. Ashdeep clinched a 13-game winning streak to seal the fearless final of the Punjab Kings against Mumbai Indians in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) at Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.

Notably, the Kings of Punjab rewrote the record in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium, scoring the second-highest score in the last six rounds of an innings in league history.
In the last six innings, 16th to 20th, the Punjab Kings scored 109 runs. Most scored in the last six innings of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against Gujarat Lions in 2016. They have scored a total of 126 points at this stage.
MI won the toss and opted to go first against PBKS. The PBKS innings ended at 214/8 in their 20 overs.
Sam Curran (29 balls 55 balls, 5 fours and 4 sixes), Harpreet Singh (28 balls 41 balls, 4 boundaries and 2 sixes) and Atharva Taide (17 balls 29 balls, 3 Fours and 6 balls) is the top hitter Punjabi. Piyush Chawla (2/15 over three pitches) is the MI bowler’s choice. Cameron Green also got 2/41 in his four pitches. Jofra Archer, Jason Behrendorff and Arjun Tendulkar each got a scalp.
Chasing 215, MI lost Ishan Kishan early, but a 76 for the second wicket between skipper Rohit Sharma (27 off 44 balls, 4 boundaries and 3 sixes) and Green put MI back in the game .
Green scored 67 off 43 balls with six fours and three sixes, and he also joined Suryakumar Yadav (57 off 26 balls, seven fours and three sixes) 75 runs for the third wicket.
But PBKS and Arshdeep (4/29) were particularly strong in the death round, giving PBKS the win by 13 points. Sam Curran won the Man of the Match award for his half-century.
With the win, PBKS sits fifth with four wins and three losses from seven matches, with a total of eight points. MI has three wins and three losses in six games, ranking seventh with six points.
