Hyderabad: For the IPL matches in the city, the Rachakonda Traffic Police has a comprehensive vehicle parking plan and ensures proper traffic control for general traffic as well as traffic heading to the stadium.
D Srinivas of Rachakonda DCP Traffic said, “A total of about 215 traffic officers will be deployed on the days when the race is held. Parking spaces have been identified and signage will be posted for the convenience of motorists.”
He clarified that general traffic would not be restricted except for heavy vehicles. Commuters heading to Genpact from Uppal intersection may choose to use the road from Ramanthapur to Habsiguda intersection via Street 8.
