Bangalore: ITI Limited has won accolades from ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) and the Ministry of Telecommunications (Department of Communications) for its instrumental role in the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3 (LVM3-M4) launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) Official release on Tuesday It will be held in Sriharikota on July 14 at 2.35pm, sources said.
The vehicle for this famous mission contained 55 components manufactured by ITI Limited to ISRO’s exacting highest quality standards. India’s third lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3, was successfully launched on a Mark-3 (LVM-3) rocket.
So far, only the United States, Russia and China have successfully achieved a soft landing on the moon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State Minister Jitandra Singh hailed ISRO for its successful mission.
Sheena Abraham Group Director, Electronics Production Group Director, ESAE (ISRO – Electronic Systems Actuator Entity), applauded ITI for its role in this mission, saying, “We would like to thank you for the hard work in your organization to make this happen. Rajaraman, Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, operated by ITI Ltd. of the Soviet Union, said: “The Ministry of Transport celebrates the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3, the Indian lunar exploration mission, and congratulates ITI Ltd. for flying various prefabricated components in this mission. We at DOT are very Proud to be part of ISRO’s successful efforts to push the boundaries of space exploration.”

For more than two decades, ITI Limited’s Palakkad facility has been working with ISRO on all its prestigious missions in an effort to help India realize its space dream. ITI Limited’s Palakkad factory was appreciated by ISRO in June this year and October last year for the realization of the flight package for the LVM3 M2/OneWeb India-1 mission launch.
