Hyderabad: Jio has launched 5G services in Hyderabad and Bangalore. It was launched earlier in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Varanasi and Natwara.

JioTrue5G, as its service claims, offers customers speeds from 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps on smartphones. Users are consuming a lot of data.
Jio said its 5G architecture does not rely on 4G networks and has a mix of spectrum in the 700 MHz, 3500 MHz and 26 GHz bands.
Jio users in Hyderabad and Bengaluru will be invited to join the Jio Welcome Offer to experience unlimited data traffic up to 1 Gbps for free, according to a press release.
