Hyderabad: As blockbusters battle it out at the box office, the low-budget film Sankranti will give them some serious competition as well. The film ‘Kalyanam Kamaneeyam’ starring Santosh Shobhan and Priya Bhavani Shankar is gearing up for its theatrical release on January 14. Recently, the film studio released the trailer.
The film is produced by renowned production company UV Creations and directed by Anil Kumar Aalla. Karthik Ghattamaneni was behind the camera and Sravan Bharadwaj wrote the score.
Prabhas expressed his support for Santosh Shoban ahead of his film’s release. Anushka Shetty also posted about it on social media.
The 1:51 clip shows the main characters (Shiva and Shruti) getting married in a traditional Telugu wedding. At the start of the intriguing trailer, things are going well, and Shiva considers himself lucky to have a working wife and a father-in-law who supports him financially. Shiva believed that his mole brought him all good luck.
However, things change when the unemployed Shiva comes into focus. At the end of the trailer, we see things get serious as Shruti accuses Shiva of cheating and slaps him. How did Shiva deceive Shruti? How does he justify his actions? That’s the crux of the story.
