Angels: Hollywood star Keanu Reeves personalized the John Wick stunt team with T-shirts featuring the number of times they “died” during the making of the film. He also gave out engraved Rolex watches.
The actor, who reprises his role as the fearsome assassin in the fourth installment of the hit series, made sure all the stunt workers in the film were sympathetic to all of the film by giving them shirts with the number of times they performed death scenes. Stunt workers are grateful — and, according to femalefirst.co.uk, the pricey timepieces are said to cost £7,300 ($9,011.84) each.
Reeves is also said to have presented the four stuntmen with expensive Rolex Submariner watches, each engraved with the words “The John Wick Five,” along with the names of the crew members and a message: “Thank you… Keanu… JW4 2021.”
The actor is also believed to have purchased one of the watches for himself.
A member of the team posted on Instagram a photo of the gift and the moment Keanu presented them with the watch, calling it “the best wrapped gift ever”.
It’s not known if Keanu will return for a fifth film, but Lionsgate studio head Joe Drake recently hinted that John Wick might return again, telling Deadline.com: ” We’re not ready to say goodbye to Keanu with this franchise. That’s what the options are… We could do a lot of different things.”
