Hyderabad: The combination of serene surroundings, picturesque sunset views and an array of food outlets serving delectable cuisines make Khajaguda Lake a favorite meeting place for tourists in Hyderabad.
Over the past few months, the lake has become a new hotspot for sunset lovers. With the booming food scene by the lake, the place has seen a surge in the number of tourists who come here to enjoy the stunning views of the sunset and indulge in street food.
“Earlier people used to visit the lake because of its beauty and some local vendors decided to set up food outlets to serve them. Gradually, as word spread about the beauty of the lake and restaurants, the number of tourists in the past few months Almost doubled,” said Appa Rao, a food vendor by the lake.

This place has a variety of food stalls serving everything from chat to Hyderabadi food and other fast food. You can find everything from biryani, pizza, momos and burgers to pani puri and ice cream. “People come here for the food because it’s delicious and affordable, so it’s popular with college students and families like us,” said Swati, a student from St. Joseph’s College.
