Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday personally called some of the citizens who had approached the recently established district office and got their detailed feedback on the operation of the new facility.
The Minister calls an IT employee to ask about the status of the complaint and how long it will take to resolve the issue. The employee lodged a complaint about malfunctioning street lights in Miyapur district.
In addition to this, during the more than three-minute telephone conversation with the IT staff, the Minister also asked whether the district government staff had adopted a citizen-friendly approach.
“After complaining, did you get a call? How did the staff talk to you on the phone? Are they polite or rude?” the minister asked the IT staff.
The minister also asked about the services provided, including door-to-door collection of waste and drinking water. He also asked whether the legal person visited the ward regularly.
