Nalgonda: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao handed a check of Rs 5 lakh to fluorosis victim Panakanti Thirupathamma in Chandur on Friday.
During his visit to Chandur on Friday, Rama Rao handed her the check and assured her that he would be at her house soon. Thirupathamma from Vattipally village in Marriguda mandal suffers from fluorosis and participated in the Jala Sadhana Samithi movement.
Munugode MLA Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy suggested that she use the money to build a new house for herself.
