Hyderabad: In this election year, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), continuing to emphasize the promotion of the good work done by the state government among the people, has directed MLAs to form special teams of active workers in their respective constituencies.
These task forces are tasked with sharing information about government programs among the population. They will also help to carry out party programs more effectively, Industry Minister and BRS Works Chairman KT Rama Rao said in a conference call with party leaders on Sunday.
He also directed the party leaders, especially elected public representatives, to utilize social media platforms in more effectively in sharing the party and government programs with the people in respective constituencies. To this end, the social media committee should be further strengthened, he said.
Chief Minister and BRS chairman K Chandrashekhar Rao, who has been monitoring the conduct and progress of the party’s Atmeeya Sammelanams, said a special party plan executive committee had been formed. The 10-member committee is headed by former speaker Madhusudhana Chary. The committee will oversee Atmeeya Sammelanams across the state.
The BRS working chair also urged MLAs, party district chairs and senior leaders to extend all collaboration to special committees.
“It is through this committee that the chief minister will oversee the implementation of the party’s plans and collect feedback,” Ramalao said.
As the Chief Minister has given the go-ahead to hold the Sammelanams by the end of May, the BRS working chairman wants party leaders to organize the meeting broadly in a well-organized manner.
Make an action plan to ensure that every party member and leading cadre attends the meeting. He said the meeting should start with Chief Minister Atmeeya Sammelanam’s address to party members.
He added that these meetings provided an ideal platform for party leaders to present before the rakyat the welfare and development programs being implemented by the BRS government and discuss them among themselves.
