Rajanna-Sircilla/Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday mocked BJP state leaders for criticizing the state government plan even though the BJP government at the center is awarding Telangana’s performance at the national level.
He said that neither the BJP leaders at the Center nor the national BJP sector leaders are brainless as the former appreciates Telangana’s performance through rewards while the latter criticizes the same plan blindly, pointing out that including Maharash BJP-ruled states including Telangana and Karnataka are sending teams to study Telangana’s plans.
The recent BRS victory in the Sircilla CESS election was just a teaser, he said, adding that the full film will be on the BJP in the subsequent state assembly elections. The BRS victory parade will start from Sircilla and the party flag will be hoisted in the Karimnagar assembly constituency as well as across the state, he said, noting that despite the BJP distribution of funds, voters in Sircilla had 15 directors backed by the BRS party.
Participating in the swearing in ceremony of the newly elected CESS governing body and later at the Rythu Kruthagnatha Sabha, Rama Rao said the BJP had done nothing for Telangana and reiterated his challenge that he would resign from his post if BJP leaders proved him wrong on the In fact, Telangana has contributed Rs 368 trillion to the country in the past eight years while only receiving Rs 168 trillion through decentralized taxation.
“Neither the BJP nor Prime Minister Narendra Modi has supported Telangana. They keep appreciating and emulating our programs but offer no support. They keep spreading lies and hatred to mislead our youth, which is It should be strongly countered,” he said, noting that the BJP did not even donate Rs 10 to the Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy temple in Vemulawada.
Ramalao strongly objected to BJP chief Bandit Sanjay’s calling Prime Minister Modi a God and demanded to know what it was based on. “Modi is God for whom and for what? Should we treat him as God for raising LPG and fuel prices in the last eight years or not sanctioning any educational institutions to Telangana? Farm law that killed more than 10000 farmers, or not to approve ST retention rate increase proposed by Telangana government? he asked.
During his eight-year tenure, Modi doubled India’s debt than it had accumulated during the tenures of the previous 14 prime ministers. Modi is not inclined to forgive farmers’ agricultural loans, but is willing to forgive loans worth more than 12 trillion rupees to corporate companies.
On the other hand, the state government has deposited Rs 65,000 crore in the bank accounts of 6.6 lakh farmers under Rythu Bandhu, he said and thanked Choppadandi MLA Sunke Ravishankar for giving Rs 5 lakh crore Rythu Bima insurance to a deceased farmer’s family, who are BJP workers.
He said BJP MPs, including Bandi Sanjay and union minister G Kishan Reddy, were completely out of fundraising for Telangana and fit in nothing but carrying the shoes of their Gujarat bosses, and he mocked BJP leaders for Modi stopping Russia Ukraine War, when he was not even capable of resolving border disputes between BJP-ruled states like Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra.
