Hyderabad: BRS jobs chief KT Rama Rao on Monday lashed out at BJP National President JP Nadda for slandering and making meaningless comments against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao while easily forgetting that the center has failed to contribute to the development of Telangana.
KT Rama Rao also criticized Congress in a public meeting on Monday after the inauguration of the famous Rs 250 crore skywalk in Uppal despite being in power for more than 50 years for failing to develop the area.
Rama Rao said that BJP Chairman Nadda came to Telangana and did not say something useful to the people but spoke rubbish. “The BJP chairman was unable to answer why the center had difficulty completing the Uppal flyover on time, nor could Union Tourism Minister Kishan Reddy explain the excessive delay in the construction of the Amberpet flyover,” he said.
While the state government is completing 35 infrastructure projects including flyovers and underpasses in record time, the center has struggled to complete two flyovers over the past few years, he said.
He said the speed of execution of major infrastructure projects is a testament to the efficient working style of the Telangana state government headed by Chandrashekar Rao.
Commenting on the BJP chief’s remarks at a public meeting in Nagarkunur on Sunday, Rama Rao said: “Why are you sending the Chief Minister to jail? You will support Shadi Mubarak because of him and Kalyana Lakshmi’s 1.2 million families? Are you going to jail for giving free KCR kits to 1.3 million women and solving decades-old problems caused by Congress?”
“Should the chief minister go to jail for ensuring uninterrupted electricity for all, ensuring drinking water, handing over free 2BHK houses or bringing IT companies to Uppal?” asked Rama Rao.
TPCC Chairman A Revanth Reddy and BRS Works Chairman Revanth Reddy said that although the Congress Party failed to develop Telangana for 55 years, Revanth Reddy himself participated in the cash-for-vote scam and deliberately attacked the Chief Minister to gain the attention of the audience. , just to enhance their political status.
