Mancheril: A woman was hacked to death by her husband while she was asleep in the Kishtampet village of Chennur Mandal early Wednesday morning.
Chennur police said Galipelli Shankaramma, 45, was slashed by her husband Posham around 4am and died at the scene.
Bosham fled the scene shortly after. Neighbors noticed the woman’s bloodied body and called police, who were looking for Bosham.
