Hyderabad: A man from the city lost Rs 40,000 to an online scammer who promised to delete intimate photos and videos of him that went viral on social media.
The victim, a private employee of Shabad, received a call from an unidentified person informing him that his private photos had been leaked on social media platforms.
He charged money and lied to the complainant in order to guarantee that they would be permanently deleted. Cyberabad cybercrime police are investigating.
