New Delhi: The body of a man was found hanging from a tree in the Civil Lines area of northern Delhi, a police official said on Thursday.
The 22-year-old deceased, identified as Rahul, was a resident of the Khyber Pass area of Civil Lines.
Police were called to the Civil Lines Police Station after reports of a man’s body hanging from a tree on Thursday morning.
“At the location, Rahul, who was a laborer, was found hanging from a tree by a cable. The Regional Crime Squad, FSL Squad and FSL Rohini have visited the scene and charged him under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) Take action,” the official added.
