Produced by Swadharm Entertainment, this twisted new take on the classic horror film stars Sangeetha, Thiruveer, Bandhavi Sridhar, Kavya Kalyan Ram and Subhalekha Sudhakar.

Gopikrishna (Thiruveer) is a software employee who is like family to his neighbors – a single mother, science teacher Neelam (Sangeetha) and her young daughter Naziya (Bandhavi Sridhar). One fine night, Neelam finds himself knocking on Gopi’s door for help, who recognizes Naziya showing signs of possible mental illness or possession.
What does all of this have to do with the titular masoda? You smile, sometimes giggle, jump up, stare wide-eyed at the screen, and cringe at what comes next.
Sangeetha, who plays the role of Neelam, said: “Horror-suspense as a genre has captured a lot of interest from a wide audience and I’m delighted to be succeeding in this space. “Masooda” is totally for horror fanatics who love gore. Filled with enough sequences to make you feel cramped either way, this movie is definitely not for the faint of heart.
