Mumbai: After unveiling the premiere posters featuring Ranveer Singh as Rocky and Alia Bhatt as Rani, the makers of “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani” released the premiere poster featuring the Randhawa and Chatterjee families.
In the movie, Ranveer Singh (Rocky) comes from the Randhawa family, a loud Punjabi family that also includes Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Aamir Bashir and many more.
Alia Bhatt, who plays Rani, hails from the smart and understated Chatterjee family, which includes Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Choudhary, Churni Ganguly and Anant Mahadevan.

The film also guest-stars Sara Ali Khan, Priti Zinta, Rohit Singh, Kostub Mani Mishra and Kartik Aryan.
Directed by Karan Johar from a screenplay by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy, the film is scheduled for release on July 28, with music by Prituam and cinematography by Manush Nandun.
