Hyderabad: Mem Famous is the latest Telugu youth film to hit theaters today. The film is produced by Chai Bisket Films, which produced Writer Padmabhushan earlier this year. Sumanth Prabhas of short film and cover song fame is the screenwriter and director of the film. Sumanth is also the protagonist. The movie did well with the Telugu audience.
Mem Famous is located in Bandanarsingapalli village, Karimnagar, Telangana. Three friends Mahesh, Durga and Balkrishna become the center of attention in the village because of their pranks. After these things caused their families to be disrespected in the village council, the three friends decided to settle down and start a tent business. The rest of the story is about how Bandanarsingapalli youths became famous and solved their problems.
The first half of the film shows the pranks of the three best friends and their struggle to stay alive. But fate has different plans, which makes the interval episodes interesting. Besides being entertaining, there is an emotional touch in the film, and the audience will love the scenes. The second half starts with a lot of conflict between the friends and then takes them on a different journey that is more hilarious than the first part. This second leg of the journey will provide unlimited entertainment for the audience.
Sumanth Prabhas is the talking center of this film. Sumans himself, in addition to writing and directing the film, also stars in the lead role. His work looks mature, balancing entertainment and emotion. The film’s characters are the main strength of its writing. Sumanth, although new, also managed the direction well. Dealing with 35 newcomers like him on set was a tall order, and Sumanth delivered the best output. He is also very dynamic as a screen actor.
All the other actors are also natural. The actors who played Lipstick Lover and Angie’s mom were very active on screen.
The movie is also technically good. Kalyan Nayak’s songs and bgm give great energy to this movie. Using Telangana DJ songs between scenes was a great move.
There are many hilarious scenes in the film that will make you laugh out loud. This movie is all about an entertainment package and everything in between. Sumanth Prabhas and his team will make sure you connect with young people and enjoy two and a half hours of film in the cinema.
