Hyderabad: In view of the opening of the All India Industry Exhibition (commonly known as Numaish), Hyderabad Metro has decided to extend the services of corridors 1 and 3 by one hour.
Trains on the Red Line (LB Nagar to Miyapur) and Blue Line (Nagole to Raidurg) will run until 12:00 am, thus reaching all terminal stations around 1:00 am. Similarly, the ticket counters at Gandhi bhavan metro station have also been increased from four to six to cater for the Numaish crowd.
Meanwhile, in view of the exhibition, the police appeal to the public to divert and use public transportation systems such as RTC buses and subways to avoid traffic congestion and parking problems, and to cooperate with police officers on duty.
