San Francisco: Microsoft has introduced a new feature in Word that lets users react to comments much like the reactions feature in Outlook.
The company is integrating a “Like” button into Word to make it easier for users to reply to comments.
According to Windows Central, the feature is rolling out to Current Channel (Preview) users running version 2305 or later, and is already available to web users and Beta channel users.
To react to comments in Word, users need to open the document and go to the comments section, then go to the comments section and click the “Like” button in the upper right corner.
The document will most likely already have a comment, if not the user will need to create one.
Additionally, the report mentions that the tech giant also said there are two known issues with the feature.
First, iOS and Android users will not be able to see comment reactions, and second, the feature may not be available when editing older documents.
However, users should be able to react to new comments added to the document.
Additionally, the tech giant added that the feature will be available to Word for Mac users in the coming weeks.
At the same time, Microsoft released a new Windows 11 development build that allows Insiders to view their phone’s camera roll in the File Explorer library.
After installing the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build, users can add photos from their phone by clicking a new button added to the command bar of File Explorer.
