Hyderabad: Mirai Bar and Kitchen, with its retro-inspired interiors and offering a theater experience rather than just a bar, opened its doors to Hyderabadis on Friday. This Jubilee Hills bar brings together local music lovers and cooking bands.
Mirai, which means Future Celebration in Japanese, aims to create a space and platform for local bands from all over the country to perform live, while young music lovers and food lovers can experience it.
“The interior and dynamics of the place provide a visual experience through huge screens and sound with high-end acoustics. The audiovisual dynamics will lead to a theater-like experience, not just a bar,” said SS Deepak Pragna, partner at Mirai. “
Mirai was founded by four friends, all entrepreneurs in different industries, with a common interest and love for regional music. “The purpose of this place is to provide urban youth with a different nostalgic experience than local bands,” says partner Pratheek Potlapally.
Bringing area bands back to the city and helping them grow, Mirai will have different area bands performing live throughout the week.
