He doesn’t love her: Accompanied by local public representatives and officials, MLA Challa Dharma Reddy visited the ongoing development of the Damera Cheruvu mini-tank embankment within Parkal city limits on Friday.
Reddy stressed the need to complete the work quickly and urged officials to expedite the process. The construction budget of the mini-tank dyke is Rs. 3.6 billion and is part of the master development plan of Parkal town which is expected to cost Rs. 8.5 billion.
To enhance the public’s recreational experience, Reddy directed officials to clear the pond area of trees to make it more suitable for boating activities. He also mentioned that speedboat activities can be organized if there is enough demand. At the request of the Goud community, the MLA also announced the installation of a statue commemorating Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud near the Peddamma Thalli temple. He directed officials to draft a statue proposal.
