Ditching veterans like LK Advani of his party won’t make any difference to the people of Telangana, says Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has let British Columbia’s 800 million people down, so he cannot be expected to be generous with Telangana, Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud said Saturday.
Speaking at a media conference at the BRSLP office, he said the people of Telangana initially had high hopes for him. They expected him to at least help fulfill state bifurcation promises. But their hopes were dashed. It will be no different for the people of Telangana who have abandoned their own party veterans like LK Advani.
Immediately after the partition of the state, he merged the seven taxation counties of Kamam district with Andhra Pradesh, largely against the wishes of the people of these counties, which gave the state its first shock. Questioning the BJP’s role in the formation of Telangana, he said deprivation of the seven mandals was a colossal betrayal.
The decision to establish a carriage unit instead of a coach factory in Kazipet would constitute an outright deceit, which will never be defended by the people of the state. He expressed strong disapproval of Modi’s tirade against the BRS leadership and said the BRS state government’s welfare programs were being replicated by the centre. He claimed that under the leadership of K Chandrashekhar Rao, Telangana has become the largest food producer. He added that today, thanks to the visionary leadership of K Chandrashekhar Rao, the state has the potential to feed the entire nation.
