New Delhi: Police Special Commissioner (Law and Order) Sagar Preet Hooda said Narco’s testing process began on Thursday morning for Aaftab Amin Poonawalla accused of the gruesome murder of his common-law partner Shraddha Walkar in Delhi’s Mehrauli area.
According to sources, Aaftab was taken from Tihar to Ambedkar Hospital at around 9 am
Awaiting further details.
Aaftab’s polygraph test concluded on Tuesday at Rohini’s Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).
Aaftab’s polygraph test has now been completed and a detailed report will be shared with Delhi Police within a day or two, according to a senior FSL official.
In this case, polygraph and drug tests were essential because Aaftab was deceptive during the interrogation and tried to mislead the interrogators, the source said.
Shraddha and Aaftab met in 2018 through dating app ‘Bumble’. They came to Delhi on May 8 and moved to the Chattarpur area on May 15. Aaftab allegedly killed Shraddha on May 18, then cut her body into 35 pieces and threw the body parts in various places over 18 days.
