A constitution cannot be confined to the whims and fancies of one man. It is a tool that can define an institution—an institution that can bring together the people, the government, the executive branch, the judiciary, law enforcement, and the media. All have obligations to fulfill and have the right to exist without harming each other.
The current situation in India contradicts the traditional practice of upholding the Constitution, where the Prime Minister announces economic policies without regard to institutions such as RBI; Cabinet ministers mislead Parliament, ED, CBI, IT have turned into political tools, Governors walk out of Parliament or hold press conferences would oppose the Chief Minister. This is an insult to the people and the largest democracy.
Interestingly, through misrepresentation and carefully orchestrated propaganda, the BJP is remotely controlling the establishment for its own benefit. A prime example is the MLA poaching case in Telangana. Within 24 hours of the three defendants being detained on the spot, the BJP rushed to court seeking a CBI investigation.
Interestingly, the three defendants were not named as parties to the case. Instead, the BJP opted to place the plaintiff, MLA, in the dock. While some startling truths are starting to emerge, the BJP has gone to great lengths to defend its supreme leader, BL Santosh.
BJP are smart in shifting goal positions. And that’s exactly what was done by shifting the narrative — from plotting to overthrow an elected government to a crime.
Attempts are now being made to place Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the dock to expose this horrific modus operandi and to underscore public discourse while demanding that all responsible institutions of society analyze how brutally the current ruling party wants to undermine democracy.
Chandrashekhar Rao has every right to call a press conference to make the nation aware of the dark side of BJP. His actions did not in any way violate the Indian law of evidence. BJP forgets what the Supreme Court has to say about the gust of media coverage.
When the Indian government argued that issues related to national security should not be made public in the media, a three-judge panel comprising then-Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justices KM Joseph and Justices SK Kaul said the government had a duty to disclose information consistent with public opinion. Details of benefits.
The Right to Information Act 2005 mentions that public authorities may grant access to information if the public interest in the disclosure outweighs the harm to protected interests [Section 8(2)]It is also to be noted that if the evidence is admissible it does not matter how it was obtained as mentioned by the Supreme Court in State vs Navjot Sandhu.
The BJP is understood to be trying to fight back against Chandrashekar Rao to save face and question the evidence released by the BRS supreme leader. In politics, the poaching case has become a talking point – from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to elected representatives have warned against falling into the BJP trap, citing the Telangana BJP’s attempt to retaliate in the video in the production of a videotape in which the accused claimed to ‘overthrow the Delhi mission’. After the names of BL Santosh and Tushar Velapally went viral, there was widespread coverage in the Kerala media.
See the first historic public meeting of Bharat Rashtra Samithi on 18th January 2023 in Khammam with the presence of Arvind Kejriwal and his counterpart Bhagwant Singh Mann from Punjab and Pinarayi Vijayan Kerala CM and Uttar Pradesh which will It was interesting Opposition Leader and former CM Akhilesh Yadav was on stage, hosted by Rao. This will surely be a turning point, with strong voices and like-minded coalitions who have proven they are capable of opposing Modi’s anti-people policies.
The BJP reacted hastily, mocking Chandrashekar Rao as being alone. But the presence of chief ministers, ex-chief ministers and opposition leaders from various countries on stage with him will send a strong message that Telangana CM is not alone.
If politics from 2014 to 2023 is used as a benchmark, many allies of the BJP have left the NDA, while on the other hand, the backbone of different countries concerned with people’s issues have not left the ground and are all ready to give tough time in 2023 , and then in 2024.
