New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people on Easter Sunday and hoped the special occasion could deepen the spirit of harmony in society.
Easter is a festival celebrated by Christians who believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ all over the world.
“Happy Easter! May this special occasion deepen the spirit of harmony in our society,” Modi tweeted.
“May it inspire people to serve society and help empower the oppressed. On this day we remember the devotional thought of our Lord Christ,” he said.
