Hyderabad’s international master Praneeth Vuppala takes eight points from nine rounds to claim title

Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s International Grandmaster Praneeth Vuppala scored 8 points from 9 rounds to win the 200th Brilliant Trophy Rapid Chess Tournament at Dilsukhnagar Brilliant Grammar School on Monday.
IM Kushagra Mohan is second with 7.5 points and IM Dhulipala Bala Chandra Prasad (Ponnuru) is third with 7 points from 9 rounds.
In the junior division, Sayaan Parmar (Gulbarga) won the race with 8 out of 9 points, while Arnav Krishna Sripadam and Pranavaaditya Ginjupally finished second and third with 7 points respectively.
