Saxena has over 30 years of solid experience having started his career with Northern Railways while working in various capacities in workshops and departments such as Jagadhri, Kalka, Charbagh and Moradabad
Hyderabad: IRSME (Indian Service of Railway Mechanical Engineers) Senior Railway Officer Pranjeev Saxena has been appointed as Secunderabad Central South Circular Railway Safety Commissioner.
Saxena is an IRSME officer graduated in 1987 with a degree in mechanical engineering from a “superior railway apprentice” and an MBA from IIM, Kolkata, specializing in finance and systems, a press release said.
Saxena has over 30 years of experience having started his career with the Northern Railways while working in various capacities in workshops and departments such as Jagadhri, Kalka, Charbagh and Moradabad. Saxena has also served as Head of Department (HOD) for South East Central Railway, North Eastern Railway and Northern Central Railway.
Prior to joining the Rail Safety Council, Saxena worked as Chief Mechanical Engineer/IT at Modern Coach Factory and Rae Bareli.
