President Droupadi Murmu to be the Chief Guest and Reviewer of the Joint Graduation Parade

Hyderabad: President Drupadi Murmu arrived in Hyderabad on Friday for a two-day visit.
Leaders and senior officials including Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Tourism and Cultural Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy greeted her at Begumpet airport.
The Chief Minister welcomed the President with a shawl and a bouquet of flowers. Ministers of State Mehmood Ali, T. Srinivas Yadav, Sabitha Indra Reddy, Satyavati Rathore and Malla Reddy, Principal Secretary Santhi Kumari, Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and others were present.
President Murmu arrived at the Presidential Palace after arriving at Beganpet Airport by a special plane of the Indian Air Force.
She will review the joint graduation parade for the 211th course at the Air Force Academy in Dundigarh on Saturday.
The Consolidated Graduation Parade (CGP) will be held in full military color. An official statement said this will mark the successful completion of the arduous and challenging pre-commissioning training of the cadet pilots of various services of the Indian Air Force.
The Chair will serve as the Chief Guest and Examiner for the CGP. During the military parade, the military ranks on the shoulders of the student pilots will be announced, representing the presidential commission. The president will also pin “Wings” and “Brevets” to the cadets’ chests, depending on the department to which they were commissioned.
The ceremony also included the presentation of ‘Wings’ and ‘aBrevets’ to Indian Navy officers, Indian Coast Guard officers and Air Force-trained cadets from friendly countries. The President will also award meritorious cadets a “Sword of Honor” and a Presidential Plaque in recognition of their performance.
The parade will be followed by aerobatics by Pilatus PC-7 trainer aircraft, flyovers of PC-7 formations, aerobatics by Su-30s and simultaneous aerobatics by the helicopter demonstration team “Sarang” and Surya Kiran.
