Neil Marr: Forestry Minister Indrakaran Reddy said people’s lives have improved a lot since Telangana was created.
Addressing the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) cadres at Athmeeya Sammelanam on Wednesday, the minister said since the formation of the state, both urban and rural areas of the state have seen remarkable growth in many ways. No other state has the same welfare scheme as Telangana. He said the programs covered every segment of society.
Citing KCR Kits, Rythu Bima, Rythu Bandhu, Aasara Pensions, Mission Bhagiratha, Kalyana Lakshmi and other schemes, Indrakaran Reddy said that the BJP-ruled country has not implemented such initiatives. He advised cadres to publicize welfare programs and development activities undertaken by the state government over the past nine years.
