New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi questioned Adani on Tuesday about the traces of funds, a day after his bail was extended by the Surat Sessions Court.
Gandhi arrived at the Congress office here for the Central Election Commission (CEC) meeting that will finalize the remaining 100 candidates for the Karnataka state assembly election.
Asked about allegations that the BJP pressured the judiciary, he replied, “Why are you asking what the BJP said… the only question is whose Rs 20,000 crore funds are in Adani shell companies.”
Gandhi, who was released on bail on Monday in a criminal defamation case in which he was convicted and sentenced, said “truth” was his “weapon in this fight”.
In a series of tweets in Hindi, Gandhi said it was “a struggle to save democracy” and against “mitra kaal”, “in this struggle truth is my weapon and truth is my refuge”.
