Hyderabad: Virupaksha, Sai Dharam Tej’s latest film, opens in theaters tomorrow (21 April). This is Sai Dharam Tej’s comeback film after recovering from injury. Also, this is Sai Dharam Tej’s first film in the horror and thriller setting. The movie has a great vibe at the moment.
Virupaksha has so far impressed the Telugu audience with its trailers and teaser content. The period setting from the 1970s to the 90s and the country story centered on superstition and supernatural elements are sure to excite viewers. The studio has promised audiences the same, saying the film will be both thrilling and terrifying. The review board confirmed this by awarding the film an “A” certificate.
There was a lot of chatter surrounding it, and Virupaksha managed to score well ahead of its US premiere. The U.S. premiere has grossed $35,000 so far. This is already a very good figure for Sai Dharam Tej compared to his previous films. Box office analysts predict that it’s entirely possible that Virupaksha will have the biggest US debut for Sai Dharam Tej in his career.
Virupaksha was written by Sukumar and directed by Karthik Dandu. Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra produced this film. Samyuktha Menon is the heroine. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music for the film.
