Of the 40 injured, five are in critical condition.
Sangaredy: Two people were killed and 40 others were injured when the DCM van they were traveling in collided with a stationary truck on the NH-65 road in Rudraram in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to Patancheru Police, a wedding reception in Chitkul Village, Patancheru Mandal, was returning to Chitkul in a DCM van after attending the wedding reception of Sangannagari Ramachandraiah’s daughter. The deceased were Sanganngari Kistaiah and Yerupula Ramulamma.
Of the 40 injured, five are in critical condition. The remaining survivors suffered minor injuries. At the same time, the injured said that the DCM driver was drunk at the time of the incident. A case is registered.
