Sangaredy: Married woman K Swathi (32) committed suicide after jumping into the Anna Sagar tank near Jogipet town on Saturday.
Police said Swathi had an argument with her husband Raju and left her parents’ house in Jogipet with her two-and-a-half-year-old son. After Anna Sagar got out of the tank, she drank toddy at a shop before jumping into the lake, leaving her son on the Bund.
The body has been removed from the tank by locals.
