Second National Amateur Golf League Organized by T Golf Foundation Kicks Off Tuesday
Hyderabad: The second edition of the National Amateur Golf League (NAGL), organized by the T Golf Foundation, kicks off on Tuesday at Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club in Hyderabad.
Eight teams from across the country will compete for the top honor. Defending champions Mysa from Hyderabad will defend their title.
Mighty Eagles-Bengaluru, Canam Raptors-Chandigarh, Chennai Hustlers-Chennai, Golfers Guild-Delhi NCR, Nanofix by Cleantech-Kolkata, Dabang Daredevils-Lucknow and Sreenidhian Thunder Bolts from Hyderabad will challenge it in the competition. Indian international professional golfers Tvesa Malik and Ridhima Dilawari will be present at the inauguration.
The eight teams will be divided into two groups, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the semi-finals. Matches will be played in singles and foursomes better ball match play format.
Dr NRN Reddy, founder of the T Golf Foundation, said: “I am delighted with the way this campaign has come and we are only going to get stronger. While the players need to sacrifice a week off from their day jobs, their passion And the camaraderie is palpable and exhilarating.”
The winner will receive Rs 5 lakh and a trophy, while the runner-up and third place will receive Rs 3 lakh and Rs 1 lakh respectively and a medal.
