Kota Gooden: A youth and his sister died and another was injured in a car crash at the Regalla intersection in the Laxmidevipalli mandal in the area around midnight on Monday.
The late Nakirikanti Neeraj (27 years old) and N Niharika (23 years old) along with another woman were traveling from Paloncha to Kothagudem by motorbike at the time of the incident. It is unclear how the accident happened. The injured woman was transferred to the hospital.
Niharika had recently been appointed by TCS and was supposed to start on Wednesday, while Neeraj was working as a sales consultant in the car showroom. The brother and sister lost their parents many years ago and live in the Babu camp in Kota Gudeng.
