Hyderabad: At the recent Filmfare OTT Awards in Mumbai, everyone was in awe of Sobhita Dhulipala’s incarnation. The “Major” star looked simply stunning in a crimson lace dress by designer Anamika Khanna and a pair of Jimmy Choo pumps. Perspective styling by Kshitij Kankaria and Jainee Bheda.
Following her breakthrough performance in 2019’s Emmy-nominated show “Made in Heaven”, Sobieta has made waves in the Bollywood industry. This romantic drama follows the lives of two Delhi wedding planners, Tara (Sobieta) and Karan (Arjun Mathur). Also, it features lead roles of performers like Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi.
The public has been anticipating season 2 ever since the show debuted and became a huge hit. On Thursday, Sobhita finally gave an update on the upcoming season. “Think you can’t figure out the (crazy) scene I voiced in Mih season 2 (sic),” she wrote in an Instagram post. “Can’t wait for tara to take our breath away (sic),” Prime Video replied.
“You looked so good at the ADR meeting, it killed me,” hailed Indian-American YouTuber Lilly Singh aka Superwoman.
According to insiders, S2 of the Prime Video series will finish filming in April 2022 after experiencing delays due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The creators have yet to officially announce a release date. “Jaldi jaldi please release kar do. Wait karte karte thak gaya mein bro (sic),” one Instagram user commented on Sobhita’s post. “Made in Heaven S2? When can we expect it…it’s been so long (sic),” one fan added.
The “Ponniyin Selvan” star also has Hollywood projects “Monkey Man” with Dev Patel, and an Indian remake of “The Night Manager” with Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.
