Ministry of Foreign Affairs decides to open passport Seva Kendras at 14 post offices under Hyderabad RPO on all Saturdays from May 20 until further notice

Hyderabad: As part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to shorten the availability period for appointments, it has been decided to open all Saturdays at 14 Post Office Passport Seva Kendras under the Regional Passport Office (RPO) in Hyderabad, from May 20 until further order.
The first such special drive took place on 20 May and the second on 27 May. A total of 700 appointments were posted on Wednesday, all of which were booked.
A total of 682 applications were processed on Saturday and these special drives will continue until the end of the appointment availability period. In a press release, RPO Hyderabad advised people to use these special drives and schedule appointments on Saturdays in addition to regular appointments posted on weekdays.
