Hyderabad: 25 government polytechnics are accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NBA), which will improve the quality of education and employment opportunities for students, while helping these institutions secure funding from central government funding schemes.
In a statement here, Technical Education Commissioner Navin Mittal said it was a remarkable achievement that 25 government polytechnics were accredited by the NBA following the formation of Telangana. He said the Technical Education and Training Board of Telangana has provided logistical and financial support to government polytechnics to facilitate the accreditation process.
He added that four other government polytechnics are ready to receive visits from NBA experts for the accreditation process and another 14 new government polytechnics that are approving positions will proceed with the accreditation process in due course.
